The Acne Program
If you're ready to kick acne to the curb, then The Acne Program is where it's at. This intensive treatment plan has been designed to tackle those pesky blemishes head-on. We'll stay on top of extractions with treatments every two weeks, and we'll also recommend some Light Therapy sessions to help get your skin in tip-top shape.
Before you get with the program, you’ll be required to book with us for The Skinquisition, our in depth, advanced consultation and skin analysis. That way we get to know as much about you and your skin as possible. After that, we may get you onto some skincare basics to prep your skin for acne treatments or we may recommend you begin the program without prep. It all depends on your skin.
The Acne Program begins with The Acne Onboarding where we cover all of the things specific to acne, get your skin sensitivity test done and set you up on the right actives for your type and severity of acne and go over how the program works. Basically, we want to see you every other week for The Acne Ritual where we’ll do an enzyme exfoliation or gentle skin peel, depending on what your skin can tolerate at each appointment, and extractions and finish with moisturizer and sunscreen if needed.
Along with this, we do recommend weekly Light Therapy sessions, 1-3 per week. Light Therapy has been shown to assist in clearing acne by killing excess bacteria and speeding up healing time. You can either see us for sessions or purchase an at home device, we’ll let you know what’s worth your money and what isn’t, in your onboarding appointment.

We begin with The Acne Program Onboarding where we go over everything with you that can effect your acne, from lifestyle factors to diet, birth control, your treatment plan, your new regimen and anything else that will help you get the best results possible. We also do a skin sensitivity test to see what strength of home care and treatment products we’re going to start you on.
All clients looking to go on The Acne Program need to complete The Skinquisition prior to onboarding.
THE ACNE RITUAL

Specifically designed for our acne clients that need regular extractions, The Acne Ritual is recommended every other week to keep pores clear and allow your prescribed line of of products & lifestyle changes to take effect; regularity is a major piece of the puzzle when it comes to treating acne. This express treatment targets acne with a customized enzyme or peel followed by expert extractions and finished with Moisturizer and sunscreen (before 3pm). Skin may remain red for a couple of hours post treatment.

LED Light Therapy for acne is a tremendous treatment option for faster results. On the acne setting, we’re able to utilize specific wavelengths of light to kill the bacteria that causes breakouts, while reducing the inflammation, pimples and redness associated with acne. A reduction in lesions and overall improvement in skin appearance is often seen in only a matter of weeks. Of course, outcomes vary depending on severity of the acne condition and compliance to recommended acne protocols. Add it to your next Acne Ritual or book as a stand-alone treatment.

5-ALA Acne Mask Treatment (For LED) | 15 min | $30
This Mask directly targets the C. acne bacteria enhancing Blue Light Therapy in the treatment of Acne, the mask needs 15 minutes for the 5-ALA to penetrate into follicles. ALA works to reduce acne by shrinking the sebaceous (Oil-producing) glands of the skin. This reduces acne by decreasing the amount of oil in each pore. While not necessary, it’s an additional tool in our toolbox.
