First and foremost, I’m staying positive and testing negative! And I hope that you are too. These are uncertain times; closures, modifications and other government driven orders mean that things can change last minute and your appointment can be affected. For that I am truly sorry and I will do my best to communicate any changes as soon as humanly possible.

I want you to know that I am paying close attention to guidances and going above and beyond whenever possible. Your safety and mine is of the utmost importance to me. On to the ch-ch-ch-changes…

Personally:

I am fully vaccinated & boosted, yay! My booster dose was administered 12/3/21.

  • I will be self isolating for 4 days if I am exposed to anyone who has covid and getting tested again before returning to work.

  • I am still not traveling via mass transit, this includes trains, planes, boats, tandem bikes & zeppelins.

  • I’m still not taking undue risks, I am not eating out indoors and I am avoiding all large gatherings at this point.

Professionally:

  • The HIVAC system at Salon Republic is filtered and treated with UV light to kill viruses so the air is clean and safe.

  • Always one for added precaution, I also have a Molekule Air Purifier in my Studio. Molekule’s PECO technology breaks down pollutants at a molecular level, including VOCs, bacteria, mold, viruses, and allergens. By using nanotechnology, PECO is able to destroy pollutants 1000 times smaller than the standard filters must meet to qualify as HEPA.

  • Wearing PPE - I will be continuing to wear my face mask, if you are more comfortable, I am also happy to use my face shield while working on you. Just ask!

  • I’m using disposable table coverings for all waxing services and under all linens used for facials for added sanitation.

  • Same day appointments are by availability only, you can book online 4 hours ahead - if you require something same day and can’t find anything, please text me to check. Curbside pick ups & local delivery can also be arranged through my online store.

  • Additional sanitation time between appointments so that I can thoroughly clean my room between clients.

What I ask of you:

  • If you are unvaccinated - LA County now mandates that all indoor business activities require you to be fully vaccinated. Due to this, I can no longer take unvaccinated clients.

  • Please stay home and reschedule your appointment if, within the last week:
    - You are exposed to anyone who is sick
    - If you are feeling unwell yourself - specifically, fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea

    If any of the above apply to you, it is recommended that you self isolate for 4 days and then get a negative result on a covid test before returning to usual activities.

  • I am required to verify your vaccination status, please remember to bring your proof of vaccination at your first visit.

  • Salon Republic requires all clients to wait outside the main doors & for ALL visitors to wear a face mask at all times while indoors. Please text “I’m here!” to 323 539 7747 when you arrive and I will come out and collect you.

  • Please don't bring additional people, pets (excl. disability assistance) or children to your appointment.

  • Please maintain an up to date credit card on file for all appointments.
